MidLife Goals, Dreams and Plans

Hey MidLifers!! Welcome!

It seems like midlife has a magical way of stirring up a sense of change in everyone I know. Whether it’s ditching the junk food and hitting the gym, switching careers, or finally achieving that dream they’ve been working towards, the common thread is this: “I need to make a move now, or I’ll miss out on all the fun!”

Life Goals

We all have dreams or goals for the future. Maybe you want to write a book, run a marathon, or change your life completely to become the person you’ve always wanted to be.  If you have a “someday” list, someday is today. Let’s get started together on our goals; making our lives better, more enjoyable and comfortable.

My Main Goals

For me, I have four main goals that will set me up for an amazing future!

◦ Career: Retire in 5 years. I’ve worked for 30+ years and I’m ready to take a break. I might start my own business, but I might not. I want the option and the freedom to do something I’m passionate about.

◦ Health and Wellness: Make my health a priority. Exercise 4-5 days a week. 4-5 cardio days and 3-4 strength training days. Eat less processed foods and more whole foods.

◦ Finance: Stick to a budget and create new income streams. This ties into the goals above but goes further into establishing a plan for after I retire and can no longer rely on my 9-5 paycheck.

◦ Family and Lifestyle: Build better relationships. I am either too busy or too stressed to be fully present with my favorite people. I want to make “my people” a priority. Give them my full attention and be there for them.

I want to start to work on a better version of myself so when I retire, I’m ready for anything life throws my way.

This will be the foundation of my blog. I’ll share my journey while achieving these goals, and maybe even discover a few new ones along the way. And of course, I can’t wait to work with all of you.

Join me on this Unfiltered, Unapologetic, and Unstoppable journey.

Happy MidLife!
